Tyler's favorite past time lately is going outside. When he is outside, he moves nonstop. Due to the very warm weather lately, we have been having a little more company to our backyard than usual and Tyler and our dog, Daisy have been having a wonderful time welcoming them. Sometimes Tyler and Daisy fight over a particular bug, but both have the best intentions of not wanting to harm the bugs, but it does not always work out for the best. Daisy likes to play with bugs or worms. She picks them up, puts them in her mouth, does not eat them, but drops them then barks at them in excitement, then rolls around on them. Most of the time the bugs do not survive. Ty is a little more humane, but if you are not careful and surprise him, he might hold the bug a little too tight while he is running away from you trying to hide the bug so that you do not make him put it down. Over all as a mother, I don't mind them exploring the world of bugs as long as they are not spiders, then I freak out and quickly quit playtime outside. I perfer that they don't kill the poor creatures unless they are spider, then they can kill as many as they want to. Here is a cute video of Ty with a new bug friend that ended up living an escaping.
