Well, the time has finally come that Tyler is getting courageous and trying to walk. He has been walking while holding onto furniture and toys since he was 9 months old, but never wanting to be adventurous and take those steps alone. He loves to be held and spun around. Two weeks ago he discovered that he could walk around while holding onto our finger and since then has been leading us around the house and down the street. Three days ago, he decided to take his first steps and since then he takes a little more. Today was the first time that he was determined and kept walking farther until he walked across the room. We always gave him a cheer afterwards then he proceeds to do, what I call, his jiggy dance. I can't believe this time has finally come. It seems like yesterday that he was just born.

Our Little Birdie Family.
Recently we have had a cute mother bird take retreat on our house. She built this really intricate nest and has been constantly sitting on her nest. Then one day, there they were. Three little bird poking their heads out. They must have been there a while before, but we just did not notice. The next day, Eric came and woke me up because Daisy had found one of the birds on the ground and was chasing it across the yard. The other two birds were nowhere to be found. So, Eric put on some gloves and put the bird back in the nest. The mother bird was close giving us a piece of her mind and every time we came to check on the bird. I was afraid that the bird might fall again, but this time to its death. The bird was perching on the side of the nest and looked a little sad. I was sad also for it because I felt that the bird was alone without its siblings.
When I came to check on it at lunch time it was gone. I searched the yard just in case it did not make it, but it was not there. The bird finally succeeded. Since then I have been seeing some birds hang around on the fence and hoped that these were the birds coming to see what used to be their home.Momma Bird was always nearby to keep a watch over her little ones.
